FBI agents who searched the home of former US President Donald Trump on Monday recovered classified documents, including some marked “top secret” that should only be in special government facilities, according to today’s reports. The Wall Street Journal.
The paper, which has had access to the inventory of the seized materials, explains that the FBI took a total of 20 boxes from Trump’s Florida home, including 11 collections of classified material.
The Wall Street Journal says the list, which could be made public today, does not detail the contents of those documents, which in some cases have been labeled “top secret”, the highest level of confidentiality that can be applied to information in the United States intelligence system.
Among the material recovered by the FBI that appears detailed, the paper highlights files related to the former Trump aide’s presidential pardon Roger Stone and a report on the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
US Attorney General Merrick Garland said yesterday that he has asked a Florida court to release all that information.

Trump himself has requested that the contents of the documents seized from his home be published in an operation he continues to describe as a “political prosecution” against him.
