In Wallern an der Trattnach, a 22-year-old driver hit a bend in the road on Friday around 9.45 pm. The car fell over a slope, rolled over several times in the adjacent field and came to a stop on its wheels after more than 100 meters.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He and his two passengers (20 and 22 years old) were seriously injured in the accident.
The driver responded after the accident, telling officers he had panned the car due to a deer crossing.
