Tesla aims to produce 200,000 units of its Cybertruck electric pickup per year. Company boss Elon Musk announced this about the futuristic-looking small truck in the podcast ‘Joe Rogan Experience’.
Musk explained that production proved more difficult than planned. Deliveries of the highly anticipated pickup will begin on November 30, almost four years after Musk’s glitchy unveiling in Los Angeles.
“We dug our own grave with the Cybertruck,” Musk said at an earnings press conference earlier this month, adding that the company could face enormous challenges in ramping up production and achieving a positive cash flow.
