Many names have been mentioned in recent weeks when it comes to the new Greiner boss – now the secret has been revealed: the plastics processor and foam manufacturer from Kremsmünster is bringing a woman to the top of the company with 11,600 employees: ex-BASF manager Saori Dubourg .
At the end of September, Greiner AG announced that Axel Kühner would leave the CEO chair. Since the end of this year, the long-term manager at the plastics processor and foam manufacturer has also been a thing of the past, with board members Manfred Stanek and Hannes Moser leading the company on an interim basis.
Kühner’s successor has been officially arranged since Wednesday. With Saori Dubourg, a top manager will take over responsibility at Greiner AG from March 1. The 52-year-old German last served on the board of the BASF Group from 2017 to February 2023.
“We are proud and happy to have acquired an excellent manager and strong personality for our group of companies in Saori Dubourg,” says Dominik Greiner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Greiner.
