Presented by LA TRUTH journalist Rubén García Bastida, it talks about his experience as a war reporter

The remoteness of some conflicts can push them into oblivion. Those produced in other continents are immersed in a mist of misinformation that only journalism can dispel. The war in Syria, and more recently in Ukraine, has highlighted the work of journalists on the ground, who report in text, video or audio format the daily lives of the population besieged by armed conflict. packed

The courage of these professionals and current information on conflicts and geopolitics are two of the topics addressed this Wednesday from 8 pm in the series of conferences ‘Conflicts on the ground’, organized by Fundación Mediterráneo, with the TRUTH collaboration.

In 2013, he was kidnapped again in Syria and spent six months in the hands of Islamic State. More recently, he has been to Ukraine, from where he has conveyed the news of the war confronting the country with Russia.
