Who’s Heading the New Two-Day Music Festival in Belfast This Summer –

The new EMERGE music festival in Belfast will bring together some of the biggest names in dance music for a two-day summer event.

A new annual outdoor multi-stage event will feature the teams behind the long-running Belfast Club Shine brand and the Belsonic Festival.

Taking place for the first time on August Bank Holiday in Belfast, it will bring together the cutting edge side of world-class international electronic artists with a wealth of brilliant new talent constantly emerging from the growing Irish market.

On August 27 and 28, 2022, in Belfast, at Boucher Road Play Fields, this will be Ireland’s largest event, with a capacity of 20,000 participants per day.

Leading frontrunners Eric Price, Disclosure, Big Go and Patrick Topping regularly receive top reports at music festivals around the world and fly back to Belfast.

Here’s what you need to know about the big names behind EMERGE:

Eric Bridzi


Eric Bridzi

Eric Sheridan is a Swedish DJ, producer and musician. He gained fame with the hit single “Call on Me” in 2004, and in 2007 he continued his success with “Proper Education” and “Pjanoo” in 2008.

His Mouseville, Pryda and Pryda Friends labels are full of underground club events and are currently the most successful and highly anticipated publication.

For over a decade, Eric Price has been synonymous with the unique and flawless sound of electronic music. The platinum-selling product is responsible for the biggest progressive house tracks of the past decade, not to mention the most artistically impressive live performances of any touring artist.

Eric Bredes impressed people in Belfast when he showed up at Belsonic in 2018 and there is no doubt he will come back bigger and better.

Jay and Howard Lawrence on disclosure

Disclosure is an English electronic music duo made up of brothers Howard and Jay Lawrence. They grew up in Regit, Surrey. Their debut studio album Settle, released on June 3, 2013 by PMR Records, was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

Pop synthesis of several styles, including house, garage, dubstep and bass, along with timely vocal collaborations made Disclosure one of the most successful production bands of 2010.

Newest game at Limelight Belfast in 2021, Disclosure is a force to be reckoned with and is ready to give Northern Ireland music fans a show they’ll never forget.

Big Joe



Big Joe

Peggy Go is a South Korean DJ and record producer in Germany. He has released seven EP record labels, including Ninja Tune and Phonica. In 2019 he released his indie label Gudu Records and released a compilation of DJ-Kicks and DJ-Kicks: Peggy Gou on! K7 Records.

In 2009, under the guidance of a Korean DJ friend, he gave his first concert at Cirque Le Soir in Soho, then performed weekly at The Book Club in East London.

In 2019, she launched her own label Gudu Records, which aims to honor both her Korean heritage and loyal fans, and highlight her creative approach and work ethic.

The event will be hosted on Sunday 28 August 2022.

Patrick topping



Patrick Topping will headline this year’s Belfast event

Patrick Topping is an English DJ, music producer and owner of the Trek label.

Published by Hot Creations, Hottrax and Relief Records, Topping topped the Beatport Tech House charts and won DJ Awards as Junior DJ and Song of the Season in Ibiza for its summer single “Forget” in 2014.

The Newcastle man also won Best Tech House DJ in 2018.

Summit builds on his DJ career, from gigs in his hometown to a night out at a club officially known as Motion at Digital, ending with clubs all over the world including Tomorrowland (Belgium), Awakenings (Netherlands), and Winter Music Conference in Miami.

Patrick Topping is no stranger

They will be joined by a wide range of internationally known electronic artists, including Kittama, Mall Grab, Michael Bibi, DJ Seinfeld, Dusky, Special Request, FJAAK, Rebeckah and many more.
