A spokesperson said a 19-year-old man was arrested tonight in the Lorgan Park area on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody and the police are urging anyone with information to report him.
Federal Democratic Party representative Carla Lockhart described it as “a very traumatic experience for the injured and for those who witnessed the accident”.
He said: “I am grateful that the wounded are receiving the help they need and I believe they will make a full recovery.
I would like to thank the local police team and the public for their assistance in this matter. Of course, it was a shocking moment for all the participants. I want to send my best wishes to the injured players.”
