Posts are occupied – Lower Austria: Three new ones for the old man’s party

Date:

Some preferential voting results confused the plans of the ÖVP and caused one face or the other to become active in state politics. The union, which has yet to grant a mandate, has not yet agreed internally.

Six mandates from the state parliament, two government seats, two federal councilors and one chairman of the state parliament – the ÖVP must release a total of eleven seats in the new legislature. Nevertheless, almost 72 hours after the initial projection, all personnel decisions were made – with the exception of one mandate from the Federal Council, which the workers’ organization still assigns itself. The country is represented in the Federal Council by Sandra Böhmwalder from Lilienfeld and Viktoria Hutter from Waidhofen an der Thaya. Former State Councilor Jochen Danninger will become the club president and will be on the political stage of the state parliament for the first time. The state list also includes the chairman of the state parliament Karl Wilfing, state manager Bernhard Ebner, Franz Linsbauer, Kurt Hackl, Christoph Kaufmann and Anton Erber in the Lower Austrian parliament. That should also mean that the former district party chairman Eduard Köck will hold the office for a while.
