The former president of the PP of Catalonia Aleix Vidal-Quadras and founder of VOX was injured after being shot on a street in Madrid, as police sources have informed EFE.
The sources have explained that Vidal Cuadras is a shot in the face around 1.30 pm at number 40 Centraalstraat Núñez de Balboa from the Salamanca district of Madrid.
Apparently there were two people waiting for him and one of them shot him in the face as he walked.
Samur-Civil Protection has reported that it concerns an injured man consciously and was taken to a hospital in Madrid while municipal police cordoned off the area.
Police sources have confirmed that the investigation is being conducted by the homicide unit and that no arrests are being made at this time. The police are looking for a motorcyclist wearing a black helmet as the author of the shot.
