The MFG, the party that opposes the corona measures, is participating in the elections for the National Council in seven of the nine federal states. On Tuesday, list leader Joachim Aigner presented his election program.
“We are not politicians, but just normal people who have had enough, who stand up and say ‘Sicha ned’,” the Upper Austrian stressed at a press conference in Linz. In the event of a seat in parliament – which the 48-year-old tax consultant believes is quite possible – Aigner wants to give up his mandate in the state parliament in Upper Austria and switch to federal politics.
What the party “sicha ned” wants
What he would then like to advocate or “sicha ned” for together with his party friends: Sky Shield, NATO, EU guardianship – in this case an Öxit and accession to the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) are necessary – as well as a hasty termination of the valid gas supply contracts with Russia.
Further objectives: an end to the “energy transition and climate catastrophe madness” and a “criminal and political revision of restrictions” during the corona pandemic.
