According to People magazine, the couple immediately flew from Joint Base Andrew to California’s idyllic Santa Ynez Valley. Both would love the hiking and wine-growing area with all their hearts and have holidayed there several times. The perfect place to relax – and perhaps unwind.
“He and Jill were here last summer, so this is his second visit in less than a year,” revealed Shelby Sim, president/CEO of Visit the Santa Ynez Valley. “There are rumors that he is buying a house in the area,” she also said.
The region is far enough away from D.C., she explained, to find relaxation. There is “no traffic” and “a homely country feeling”. Meanwhile, the Bidens are keeping quiet about where they will live after leaving the White House. Whether in the Valley or in one of their two homes in Delaware.
