Sweden determined – damaged cables: suspicious ship set

After a new incident in which a data cable was damaged in the Baltic Sea, the Swedish coast guard put the suspect ship. The Swedish public prosecutor is investigating Sabotage due to a serious suspicion. The “Vezhen” is again part of the Russian shadow fleet.

Recordings of the Swedish radio station SVT showed how the emergency services went on board in the dark. The ship that drove under Maltese flag was on the anchor on Monday morning south of Karlskona. At that time there was a patrol ship and a boat from the Swedish coast guard.

Cable is used by the state broadcast
Earlier there had been a new incident in which a data cable was damaged in the Baltic Sea. This time it is one that runs between Sweden and Latvia and is used by the Latvian state broadcast and television center.

The damage took place in the exclusive economic zone of Sweden. The Swedish public prosecutor announced on Sunday evening to determine because of possible serious sabotage and to have put a suspicious ship.

Next incident made by ship made of Russian shadow fleet?
In recent weeks, alleged sabotage files of cables and lines in the Baltic Sea have constantly caused a sensation. EU responded with sanctions
