Interface around black and blue – “Austria earned better in times of crisis”

Austria remains four and a half months after the elections of the National Council without a new government. According to the “Sugar Coalition”, the government negotiations between the FPö and the ÖVP, which have been processed for days, are also confused yesterday. It was a failure at guessing or as governor Hans Peter Doskozil (Spö) who commented on: “Austria earned better, especially in times of crisis.”

Doskozil: Prepare new elections
He testifies to the blue-turquoise negotiators, lack of compromise and that both are only posted and functions. For Austria, he now wants a phase of consolidation and cooling and calls on to use an expert government and to prepare for a new election.

Stability important
For the governor, the trial in the federal government also confirms the political decisions in the country, where a government was formed in record time. “This is the most important thing to bring Burgenland stability and safety – exactly what the population and the economy are currently expecting the most from politics,” said Doskozil.

The club chairman of freedom, Norbert Hofer, sees the responsibility for the failure of government conversations only at the ÖVP. “At the moment, in a phase of economic challenges, our country urgently needed a stable and decision,” Hofer explains. However, the ÖVP was less about a functioning government than to guarantee its own power.

Haider-Wallner relieved
The green chairman is relieved to show the governor Anja Haider-Wallner. Failure is an opportunity for Austria: “An opportunity for a pro-European government that promotes cohesion in our society, pays attention to the freedom of judiciary and the media, sees the welfare state and climate protection as important tasks of our state.”
