American authorities have deported around 260 alleged criminals to El Salvador during the weekend. This is now an aftermath for both US President Donald Trump and in court who had forbidden deportation.
The American federal James James Boasberg asked the government on Monday to explain whether she had transferred the deportation of his other legal order. The Ministry of Justice then announced that Boasberg would be deducted from the case. He ignored “President Trump’s established power power,” threatened the population and law enforcement, said it. Since the majority of the American congress is checked by Republicans, federal judges are often the only brakes and they put many projects on the ice to check the legality.
In the meantime, the head of the state of Nicolás Maduro van Venezuela has announced his protest at the UN. To “protect Venezuelan men and women”, human rights mechanisms must be activated, he said. The White House accuses Maduro of being closely linked to the drug gang. Some of these even receive direct instructions from his left -wing government.
Government lawyer: “security problems”
As reported, the Trump government has deported around 260 people to El Salvador during the weekend, who are mainly members of the Venezuelan gang of the Aragua. This is associated with kidnapping, extortion and orderings. The public lawyer ensured that there are “concerns about national security” and that the jurisdiction of the court does not even include airspace outside the United States. Judge Boasberg had given another hearing before March 21.
“A government aircraft that is on the road is not in a legal zone,” said constitutional lawyer Michael J. Gerhardt of the University of North Carolina School of Law. If that was different, the government can “do everything they want to do”.
