Small elections in Lower Austria on Sunday: in Maria Lanzendorf the former mayor came in the race – and not only received mandates for all competitors, but also did not succeed in becoming a few votes to become the strongest power in the community. There was also another urn gang in the Gablitz, Marchegg and Klosterneuburg.
As reported, the list of ex-room chef Peter Wolf was not admitted to the elections in Maria Lanzendorf in January contrast! During yesterday’s election, Wolf was clarified, only made it less than the reigning Spö with 5 votes and all other parties cost seats in the city council. The result: the Spö contains 7 mandates (-1), Wolf’s List or Mala immediately makes 6 mandates, the greens also have 6 (-1), the FPö One (-2) and the ÖVP only receives a mandate (-2).
Gablitz: ÖVP held mandates
The rise of voters has fallen by 5 percent compared to the urn gang in January in Gablitz. There a note had led about the official board that had led to repetition. The greens benefited from it. They were able to win 2 mandates and now hold 10 seats in the city council. The ÖVP remains the strongest faction with 15 mandates. The Spö has its 3 mandates, the FPö has only one mandate (-1). The Neos are the great losers: they have to hand in their mandate and – as the list go – are not represented in the city council.
In Klosterneuburg, the elections only had to be repeated in a sprinkle due to irregularities when voting in January. There were only marginal shifts in the number of votes, the distribution of the mandates did not change compared to the result of January: ÖVP 17, Greens 6, Neos 5, FPö 5, Spö 4, Puk 4. Interesting detail: Neos and Freedom now have exactly the same number of votes.
Civil list punished
Due to the premature voice of individual assessors, the citizen list in Marchegg had influenced the election of Jänner. And was punished for it. She now only has 1 mandate (-1), but the ÖVP increased from 12 to 13 mandates. The FPö with 4 and the Spö with 5 seats in the city council remained unchanged.
