Betis will once again spin hard in Europe

Date:

The Real Betis returns this Thursday to European competitions with a visit to HJKHelsinki in the Finnish capital, where Manuel Pellegrinicertainly, he will once again use his policy of massive rotation as he did last season, when he introduced between eight and nine changes to the starting team in the first European games in the group stage -against Celtic, Ferencvaros and Bayer Leverkusen- compared to those who participated in LaLiga the previous day.

So far, Pellegrini has used only 16 players from the 25 he has in the first team to form the starting eleven for the first four days of the League, where they did not make it. Claudio Bravo, Dani Martín, Martín Montoya, Víctor Ruiz, Juan Miranda, Paul Akouokou, Joaquín, Luiz Henrique, Willian José or Loren. All of them -except the unregistered Martín Montoya and Loren- have options to start in Helsinki, where goalkeepers Claudio Bravo or Dani Martín and defender Víctor Ruiz can enjoy their first minutes of playing of the season, because they are the only ones who have not been released for various reasons, including Masrtín Montoya.

On the way back from Helsinki, Real Betis received the Villarreal next Sunday at Benito Villamarin (9pm), in an important match in the fight for the Champions positions and there Pellegrini will field his best possible eleven. Nabil Fekir, with a strong contracture in the hamstrings, he will miss the next few games, while we will have to see how he evolves William Carvalho of his ankle pain.
