DAZN, the leading global sports streaming platform, and Dorna Sports, the organizer of the motorcycle world championship, have agreed to renew the MotoGP broadcast rights for the next five seasons. The platform, which has offered the championship since its launch in Spain in March 2019, will continue to exclusively broadcast all free practice, qualifying and MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 races between 2023 and 2027.
With a long-term commitment and a strategy focused on bringing the competition closer to a larger number of fans, DAZN has led MotoGP to increase the number of unique users following the championship by 62.1% from March 2019 to date. The increase in the number of followers of the championship can be seen in three categories, with an increase of 71.4% in MotoGP, 49.9% in Moto2 and 57.6% in Moto3.
