Jin Young Ko broke the record for several weeks as world No. 1

Ko, who finished 20th on Sunday at KPMG Women’s PGA Championshipthe women’s Grand Slam tournament, reached No. 1 for the first time in April 2019 and, since then, has been the queen of golf in five different periods: now it is the sixth consecutive week since the last change at the top of the ranking.

Jin Young Ko won two Grand Slam titles in 2019 which is currently on his record (ANA Inspiration, The Evian Championship) and twice selected as the best player of the year (2019 and 2021).
