Official: Juventus announce a popular surname

Juventus announced this Saturday the inclusion of American international winger Timothy Weah, 23 years old and until now at Lille. Timothy Weah will start a new phase in his career, for the first time in Italian football, where his father, George Weah, rose to fame in the 90s.

Timothy Weah has been a member of Lille since 2019 and signed for 5 seasons with the Juventus club, until 2028, after the Turin club paid 10.3 million euros to the French entity for the transfer. This was announced by Juventus itself.

The son of George Weah seems to have been called to occupy the right wing of Juventus after the departure of the Colombian Juan Cuadrado, 35 years old and who, at the end of his contract, left the Juventus club, where he played the last 8 years.
