Canada and Finland will open the final stage of Malaga

The confrontation between the current champion, Canadaand the debutant in the final stage, Finlandwill open the Davis Cup Final Eight to be discussed in Malaga from November 21 to 26.

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has published the calendar for the Final Phase of the competition. Canada will contest the first quarter-final tie on Tuesday, November 21 at the Jose María Martín Carpena Sports Palace in a clash against Finland.

The European team is in the quarterfinals for the first time in its history after its victories last week against the United States and Croatia in Split matches.

Australiafinalist in the last edition, will compete on Wednesday, November 22 in the competition against Czech Republic, which won all nine games it played in Valencia last week and ended Spain’s Group C aspirations.

The other two quarterfinal ties will be played on Thursday, November 23. Netherlands is measured in Italy in the morning session and afterwards, Serbia and Great Britain They will complete, in the afternoon shift, the quarterfinal matches.

The winners will play in the semifinals, scheduled for Friday, November 24 and Saturday, November 25, before the winners meet to bid for the 2023 Davis Cup title in the final on Sunday, November 26.
