Fermín Aldeguer finished fifteenth on Saturday after a poor classification
The ‘Shark of Mazarrón’ started from twelfth position after a standings that made it difficult for him to match last Sunday’s result, taking the win and becoming the youngest rider to win a race in the Moto2 category.
The ‘rookie’ had a rough start, unable to climb positions. On lap 14 the driver was still tenth and although he was running at the same speed as the race leader, he was more than a second behind ninth Alonso López. It was from that lap that the man from Mazarrón started to close the gap and had the best moments of the race. In two laps he reached eighth place and one lap before the end he was already in sixth position in which he would finish.
The other rider from the Murcia region, Fermín Aldeguer, who qualified to start from 20th position, finished 15th. A bad Saturday that takes him away from his best results this season in Portugal and Indonesia.
