The executive of the association unanimously expressed this frustration after assessing the benefits of the project “They should weigh more the differences between the parties, because the future of the people of the Pyrenees of Aragon and Catalonia is at stake.”

The document recognizes that “the localities of the Pyrenees are first interested in respecting the environment, so any future project must be carried out in a sustainable manner to guarantee that future generations will receive these mountains at their best. environmental conditions “.
The document also demands that “social sustainability standards be considered so that the investments made will result in a better future for the well-being of Pyrenean society”.
In this sense, the association says that the future candidacy to design implies a joint presentation of the entire Pyrenean territory, both Aragonese and Catalan, and regrets the lack of agreement to activate the start of the project.
A project, added Adelpa, which represents “a good opportunity and which, moreover, should take place in conditions of balance between the parties, it is important that all the places with snow in Aragon is represented, along with all municipalities and territorial entities involved ”.
