The Triumph Thruxton RS arrives with more power, better handling and more contemporary styling
The Thruxton name is legendary in the automotive world. An icon born of incredible sporting success at the Thruxton 500 and the Isle of Man TT, it has inspired a generation of café racer fans.
Designed to take the legend even further, the Thruxton RS combines the spirit and design of the original café racer and raises the bar in performance and capability.
All the features, characteristics and quality of the acclaimed Triumph Thruxton R have now been maximized in the RS, a new premium class offering higher performance, even better cafe racer handling, more contemporary design and incredible details and finishes.
Thanks to the thorough redesign of the Thruxton RS engine, this engine legend offers 8 more horsepower, maximum torque of 112 Nm at lower revs and a more lively response than ever.
The purely sporty bike section is combined with high-performance suspension, competition tires, Brembo M50 front brakes and the most advanced technology aimed at motorcyclists to convey the most intense café-racer-like sensations to the rider. As icing on the cake, the redesigned 1,200cc parallel twin engine is now more agile, more powerful (105PS @ 7,500rpm) and delivers maximum torque of 112Nm at 700rpm less.
Everything about this bike is designed to enhance the Thruxton’s strong reputation and further enhance Triumph’s prestige among cafe racers. With the RS, the legend has evolved.
