Suzuki grew to 3 million vehicles produced by 2022

The Japanese brand sold a total of 2,968,494 cars worldwide, 7.4% more than in 2021

Suzuki surpassed
3 million cars produced (3,172,192 units) in 2022, 10.7% more than in 2021, two consecutive years of growth. Suzuki experienced an increase in production in Japan between January and December 2022 due to the increase in car production, both for the domestic market and for export.

Production also grew
outside Japan due to the increase in production in countries such as India (which recorded record annual production) or Hungary.

Overall Suzuki sales in Japan fell in 2022 due to declining sales of mini vehicles, despite increased sales of standard and small vehicles.

Registered abroad
a year-on-year increase due to the increase in sales in regions such as India, Latin America, Oceania or Africa. These last three markets posted record annual sales. As a result, a total of 2,968,494 cars were sold worldwide, 7.4% more than in 2021, a succession of two consecutive years of growth.
