In the night from Friday to Saturday, an unknown perpetrator, driven by hunger and thirst, tried to break open a food vending machine in Spittal (Carinthia).
At 4 a.m., the man tipped a device into a food and drink vending machine in hopes of getting his loot. “The perpetrator was an obese man between 1.70 and 1.80 meters,” police said. “He was wearing a dark T-shirt with bold ‘Thrasher’ on it and gray sweatpants.”
The perpetrator caused almost 9,000 euros in damage to the machine with his action, but he did not get the long-awaited loot and had to leave hungry and thirsty. The police have photos of the failed thief, which they will publish later if necessary.
