A motorcyclist (42) was fatally injured in the municipality of Eberschwang in Upper Austria. Attempts to resuscitate the pursuing drivers were to no avail.
A 42-year-old from the Grieskirchen district sent his motorcycle on Gutenshamer Straße in the direction of Eberschwang around 7:50 p.m. on Monday. Near the Walling area he left the road in a bend to the left, fell into the ditch and was left lying in the meadow, seriously injured.
Died on the spot
Subsequent drivers set the rescue chain in motion and provided first aid measures. Despite the emergency physician’s resuscitation measures, the driver succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
