New terror strategy? Putin wants to bomb Ukraine in the cold and darkness

Date:

The Russian army continues its continuous rocket fire. A third of energy infrastructure has already been hit hard.

In his war of aggression against Ukraine, Putin is apparently relying on a new terrorist strategy: as Ukraine continues to achieve success on the battlefields in its counter-offensive in the largely Russian-occupied east of the country, the Russians are now apparently making a very targeted effort to destroy the civilian population. to shoot.

With winter approaching, which can turn bitterly cold in Ukraine, Russian forces have been targeting civilian infrastructure with massive rocket attacks in recent days. About a third of Ukraine’s electricity infrastructure has already been affected and in some cases severely damaged. District heating plants are also targeted by missiles.

Power outages in many villages
In many villages and towns there was a complete or partial power outage. Even in the capital Kiev, electricity has to be turned off in some places. For a while, one part of the city is supplied, then the other. Many heating systems have also failed in large parts of the country. Kremlin boss Putin apparently wants to bomb Ukraine in the cold and darkness.

Meanwhile, Germany supplies state-of-the-art air defense systems to Ukraine. And President Volodymyr Zelenskyy encourages the people and promises that the reconstruction will take place soon. At the same time, Putin declares that Russia is still willing to supply gas to the EU. The damaged Nord Stream gas line can be repaired.

The Druzhba oil pipeline in Poland also has a leak. However, sabotage is excluded.
