The transparency database for economic aid in the aftermath of the corona pandemic has now been published, the Ministry of Finance announced on Thursday.
All aid above 10,000 euros that has been processed through the Covid 19 Financing Bureau (COFAG) or gone to farms will be published on the website. In addition, there is all support above 1500 euros to non-profit organizations (NPO benefits).
EUR 300 million not paid out after inspection
Services from the Covid-19 loss bonus, loss compensation, fixed cost subsidy, lockdown sales compensation and Covid-19 payments for agricultural and forestry activities are published. Controls by COFAG or on behalf of COFAG would have prevented the unjustified payment of approximately EUR 255 million. This is according to a government press release. Another 43 million euros was returned via voluntary correction notifications.
All the necessary information is now on the website.
