4260 new corona infections have been reported in Austria since Sunday. Another death related to infection was recorded.
There was also a drop in the seven-day incidence to 420.2. As of Sunday, 1982 corona patients were in hospital – nine fewer than the day before. 100 patients were cared for in intensive care units. This number has not changed since the previous day, but has decreased by 28 in a week.
The data status of the epidemiological reporting system (EMS) related to the corona pandemic in Austria is updated daily in the afternoon on the dashboard of AGES (Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety). The data reflects what happens between midnight and midnight of the respective event day before wider.
