This was reported by the Indian news agency IANS on Monday. The accident happened on the railway line between New Delhi and the very poor state of Bihar. The family could not find a seat on the crowded train and stopped at a train door.
Father died in hospital
Suddenly, the three-year-old girl fell from the moving train. The 32-year-old father jumped after her, but in vain. While his daughter died on the spot, the man succumbed to his injuries a short time later in a hospital. The mother pulled the emergency brake after her husband jumped.
