The emergency services were called shortly before 12:00 on Friday for a collision between a tram and a truck in Linz. A 37-year-old from Linz, who was on the tram, suffered minor injuries in the accident.
A 46-year-old Czech drove his truck out of town on the country road around 11:30 am on Friday. When he reached Rudigierstrasse, the man turned right. The rear of the truck, which swerved, collided with a tram entering the city, which was passing at the time. As a result of the accident, a 37-year-old Russian citizen from Linz, who was on the tram, suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Kepler University Hospital.
Tram traffic was stopped for about an hour.
