The piste rescuers had an unusual “patient” in the Tyrolean region of Sölden on Saturday: a deer got lost on the Giggijoch ski slope. The gullible animal was saved and is now taken care of again at a feeding place.
Unfortunately, there are enough ski accidents in Tyrol these days. A little variety is always good. The piste rescuers in Sölden had a far from everyday job on Saturday morning.
Animal “trapped” on black slope
Around 09:00 a deer got lost on the black slope No. 22 on the Giggijoch. It did not advance or retreat – and eventually had to be recovered by the track rescue service.

Which ended up going pretty smoothly. Because the animal was anything but shy, it was carried to flatter ground by one of the animal helpers.
The deer was handed over to the local hunters unharmed and is now being nursed back to health at a feed stall.
