Suspect on the run – alert manhunt! Woman (42) stabbed in Linz

Linz is currently under lockdown: a 41-year-old Iraqi allegedly stabbed his partner in the morning and fled!

The police were alerted at 6:45 am: the 42-year-old woman was lying in a pool of blood in an apartment on Wiener Strasse in Linz. She had suffered a stab wound to her abdomen. The injured person was taken to hospital by the emergency doctor – according to initial information, there is no danger to life.

The partner of the victim is suspected to be the perpetrator. The Iraqi is said to have stabbed with a kitchen knife during an argument. “We assume intentional grievous bodily harm. It should be a relationship act,” said the police.

The gun remained on site and the 41-year-old fled by car. The police are also trying to reach the suspect on his mobile phone, but he is not answering at the moment.
