A serious car accident took place in the Großer Walsertal in Vorarlberg on Sunday. All help came too late for the person who caused the accident. His car was torn into two parts in the collision and the driver died at the scene of the accident.
The 28-year-old had previously overtaken a bus in the valley on his way to Blons from Sunday. He then skidded and collided with an oncoming car.
In the accident, two other occupants of the other cars were slightly injured and were taken to Bludenz State Hospital after receiving first aid. Two other occupants were unharmed.
The road was closed for about an hour and a half during the rescue and clean-up work.
