Apparently, a 14-year-old and her boyfriend (17) in Heidenreichstein (Lower Austria) did not wake up after taking drugs.
The small medieval town with its mighty moated castle lay peacefully in the light of the rising winter sun on Wednesday morning. An alarm destroyed the peaceful idyll in one fell swoop: the fire brigade had to rescue “several unconscious people” from an apartment in the village square. It was a bad omen when the Florianis were recalled from the mission before they even arrived.
The other emergency services gave a terrible picture – they found two girls (14 and 17) motionless. The emergency doctor, who was just as quickly on the scene, immediately tried, but ultimately unsuccessfully, to snatch the girlfriends of death at the address in the district of Gmünd – both come from small towns in the neighboring district of Waidhofen an der Thaya.
Only the known (suspects go towards the brother of one of the victims) was still alive and was questioned by criminals from the crime scene during the day. He would have been dependent on various resources and unemployed for a long time.
Type of death drugs will be determined by autopsy
In the course of the day it became more and more concrete that drugs would have been involved and that taking them would ultimately be fatal. But what exactly happened in the apartment is still under investigation. An autopsy was ordered on the dead girls.
