The pensioner already drove his car on a forest path in the Zollneralm area on Monday. The 69-year-old should have gone off the road. His car crashed over about 300 meters of steep terrain. Because the family was concerned about the pensioner, a major search was launched on Tuesday. But it was not until Wednesday that the Gailtaler’s car was spotted by the police helicopter crew.
Mountain rescuers found dead
