A 43-year-old was run over by a lorry trailer in Hüttau-Niedernfritz in Salzburg on Monday evening when she wanted to couple it to the towing vehicle. The woman was taken to the Cardinal Schwarzenberg Clinic in Schwarzach with serious injuries.
At a company site in Niedernfritz, the Hungarian wanted to couple a fully loaded 22-tonne trailer to a towing vehicle. When it started to roll, the woman could no longer avoid it and ended up under the support of the trailer. She seriously injured her right upper arm, upper body and right thigh.
22 emergency services from the Hüttau and St. Martin fire brigade lifted the trailer with a hydraulic cylinder and loaned the injured person. She received first aid from an emergency physician at the scene and was then taken to the Cardinal Schwarzenberg Clinic. The police are currently excluding third-party debts.
