On the night of Tuesday, a vendor with a kitchen knife was violently attacked in a snack bar in Vienna. However, the seller fought back, albeit in a rather unusual way.
The attacker appeared at the snack stand on the country road around 11 p.m., threatened the employee and demanded money. When he suddenly pulled out a kitchen knife, the fast food vendor didn’t hesitate and grabbed a bar table to push the attacker away. The suspect then immediately fled. Passersby alerted the police at the time.

Due to the exact identification of the perpetrator and an immediate house search by WEGA, a 35-year-old suspect was arrested near a tram stop and temporarily arrested.
Murder weapon recovered
The murder weapon was also seized by the officers. Fortunately no one was injured. The 35-year-old is currently in pre-trial detention.
