We analyze how to apply for help: deadlines, amount, documentation and methodology.
The aid approved by the Basque government amounts to a million euros. The goal is to offset the costs incurred by the families of the 7400 students with the right to school transport affected by the absence of this service during the first days of the start of the course.
The Ministry of Education pays 0.29 euros per kilometer, depending on the distance between the home and the school.
To measure distances, the tool based on the “GeoEuskadi” cartography will be used.
Two return journeys between the home and the school are taken into account per school day for a part-day and one return per school day for a continuous day.
Each family pays based on the number of sons and daughters. For example, if a family has three children, they will receive three subsidies.
The request for assistance can also be submitted telematics as well as in size paper before the management of the education center.
The affected people are not required to provide documentation to justify the movements.
The deadline for applying for it is open between September 27 and October 26.
The call is aimed at students in the third year of the first cycle of pre-school and early childhood education, the second cycle of pre-school and early childhood education, primary and compulsory secondary education and basic vocational training with the right to school transport.
