Russian Governor: – “Miracle” happened after a rocket attack in Crimea

Date:

The Russian-installed governor of Ukraine’s annexed Black Sea peninsula of Crimea has reported a “true miracle”. At the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, which was attacked with missiles on Friday, an icon “survived” unscathed, Mikhail Razvoshayev said. And the Russian politician now has big plans with this cult image of the Orthodox Church…

The Russian population is considered very superstitious, regardless of age and education. The Russians see many things as a sign of things to come. Razvoshayev now claims to have found a clue from above that Russia will win the war.

“We have witnessed a true miracle,” Razvoshayev boasted on Telegram. Archpriest Sergius Chaljuta I told him that the wooden canvas on which the icon was painted was completely untouched by the fire. And this despite the fact that the wooden frame of the photo was lost forever in the fire.

The portrait shows the admiral of the Russian fleet, Fyodor Ushakov (1745-1817). He is considered a saint of the Russian Orthodox Church. ‘As we know, Fyodor Ushakov never lost a single battle. Even after hundreds of years, the invincible Admiral still protects Sevastopol and gives us certainty for another victory,” Razvoshayev announced.

Spot online: “Pair of generals charred”
The politician also pointed out that the icon had an inscription. “Don’t despair!” is what it says. “These terrible storms will lead to the glory of Russia.” There are many jokes on the Internet. For example, it is said that the governor is organizing a parade because air defenses are no longer helpful. Whether it has proven that the icon can only save itself. A few generals were charred, but thank goodness the icon was intact, another user scoffed.

Attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet
On Friday, Ukrainian forces in Sevastopol attacked the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in Crimea with missiles. “While repelling a missile attack, five missiles were shot down by the air defense system. As a result of the attack, the historic building of the Black Sea Fleet headquarters was damaged,” the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the attack in a statement.

Ukraine makes major breakthrough
According to official military information, Ukrainian troops continue to advance on the front in the south. The report from the General Staff in Kiev on Sunday morning read: The troops “drive the enemy out of their positions near Werbowe in the Zaporizhia region and settle in the positions they have reached.”

The US Institute for War Studies (ISW) wrote that at this point Ukraine had breached the most heavily fortified Russian defense belt in the region. This belt included minefields, manned trenches, anti-tank trenches and concrete barriers. The commander of Ukrainian forces in this sector, Brigadier General Olexander Tarnavskyi, said in an interview with US broadcaster CNN that a breakthrough had been achieved near Werbowe.

A counter-offensive has been underway since June
In their counter-offensive, Ukrainian forces have been trying to advance south towards the Sea of Azov since June. An interim objective is to move artillery close enough to the occupied town of Tokmak that this Russian supply center can be shelled.

The Ukrainian army reported further friendly attacks from the front near the city of Bakhmut in Donbass. Russian attacks were repulsed in the towns of Bilohorivka and Mariinka in the Donetsk region. This information cannot be independently verified.
