Serious traffic accident on the Semmering Expressway: Friday afternoon a driver drove off the road and overturned his vehicle. The 78-year-old was flown to LKH Graz with serious injuries.
It is still unclear to the police how this serious accident could have happened. On Friday around 2 p.m., a 78-year-old from the Leoben district drove his car on the S6 Semmering Expressway from Bruck an der Mur towards St. Michael.
Shortly before the Oberaich exit, the man left the road for an unknown reason and overturned his car. A blessing in disguise: a doctor who happened to be passing by immediately began providing medical care to the accident driver.
The 78-year-old was flown to the LKH Graz with serious injuries – the S 6 was closed in the area of the accident site for about an hour and a half.
