As EOGE reports in a statement, it attended this morning’s meeting in the hope that the workers’ representation would accept the business proposal on September 29, given the “little follow-up to the strike or, at least, the one realistic and productive counter-proposal” that would allow progress in negotiations.

On the contrary, he regretted that the unions had limited themselves to expressing their refusal to the latest proposal and calling a new strike “as a measure of pressure, without clarifying the objectives they pursue, in addition to those have already been established and which are impossible to achieve. “for cooperatives in the sector”.

The employers’ organization has recommitted to its “will for dialogue” and to continue discussions until an agreement is reached, recalling its latest proposal, which includes a salary increase of 21.66% of the hourly wage (4% for each of employers). validity of five years 2024-2028).

For this reason, the country has once again appealed to the social side to effectively resume negotiations on what will be the Second Collective Agreement and to agree to requests “in accordance with the reality of its sector and the Basque economy.”
