Bizarre operation Wednesday evening in the Donaustadt district of Vienna: a 28-year-old man gained access to his neighbor’s apartment, threatened him with a pocket knife – and turned off his computer. The device would disrupt the chip in his head…
First things first: the 28-year-old was sober – and a later drug test came back negative – when he entered the 27-year-old neighbor’s apartment on Wagramer Strasse around 6:45 p.m. The 28-year-old made stabbing movements towards the victim, causing him minor injuries. He then turned off the PC.
The man threatened to kill the 27-year-old if he turned the computer back on. The perpetrator then returned to his apartment.
The perpetrator is already officially known
The police were able to arrest the man a short time later. The officers confiscated the knife. The 28-year-old – according to information from Krone he is already known to the authorities – was banned from entering and approaching the building.
