In his speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference in Davos, the 44-year-old also thanked international aid so far. “The world believes in Ukraine.” But further measures are now needed, such as sanctions against all Russian banks. “The war will last as long as the world trades with Russia,” added Ukraine’s ex-world boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko. He even called for the complete isolation of Russia and the exclusion of Russian athletes from the Olympics. After all, they would represent the “aggressive regime of Russia”. According to Klitschko, Ukraine will not give up its resistance: “We will fight as long as we live.”
