A little boy (6) was hit and injured by a car on a protective path in Tiroler Zirl (Innsbruck-Land district) on Wednesday morning. The six-year-old child was taken to hospital.
The student was crossing the zebra crossing on Meilstrasse in Zirl shortly before 7:30 am when the terrible accident occurred: a 40-year-old resident in his car must have missed the boy on the street and hit him. The child suffered leg injuries in the collision.
Boy admitted to the clinic
The rescue team provided first aid to the child on the spot. After his mother was informed, the boy was taken to the accident ambulance at the Innsbruck clinic.
The driver had to undergo an alcohol test. This was negative. Traffic on Meilstrasse had to be stopped alternately after the accident.
