Following the end of the ceasefire, Israel announced massive attacks on the radical Islamic group Hamas. The Palestinian organization “will now take the mother of all blows,” government spokesman Eylon Levy told reporters on Friday. Levy blamed Hamas for the end of the ceasefire because it “did not release all the kidnapped women.”
The government spokesman said Hamas had not provided a new list of hostages to be released before the ceasefire expired Friday morning. In addition, the radical Islamic Palestinian organization fired a rocket into Israeli territory at 7 a.m. (6 a.m. CET) before the end of the ceasefire. On platform
Hamas said they had made an offer to “elderly people.”
However, Hamas said it had proposed to Israel an exchange of “elders” and the transfer of the bodies of Israeli hostages. Israel has not responded to this.
The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip came into effect last Friday. A total of approximately one hundred Hamas hostages were released during the ceasefire. In return, 240 Palestinians were released from Israeli prisons.
