But that’s not true, according to a new study. Rather, there is broad consensus on immediate action on climate change. However, there is a reason why this is often not reflected in support for specific political initiatives.
For the energy transition to be successful and to avert climate catastrophe, active leadership is needed from the respective governments of the countries and from a broad public that supports their actions and changes. But does the world actually want action on climate protection? And if so, how can they be motivated to support climate action and certain climate-friendly policies?
