They did it again, just a little differently. The activists of the Last Generation Austria, popularly known as climate glue, were out and about in Linz on Friday afternoon. This time they left the glue at home, but there were still protests.
It was around 2:30 PM when a small group of almost 25 people in Urfahr walked onto the road towards the main square at Rudolfstrasse tram station and blocked traffic.
Over the Nibelungen Bridge
“They then went over the Nibelungen Bridge and we broke up the meeting at the southern bridgehead,” police operations manager Michael Hubmann told “Krone”. The entire event ended at 2:50 PM. No one had glued themselves down.
The activists once again called on the government to finally start implementing the Climate Council’s recommendations to prevent three degrees of warming.
