Caught red-handed: serial burglar sold 40 stolen vignettes

Date:

During his trip, a 34-year-old Turk had everything stolen: from sports shoes and bags to game consoles and highway vignettes.

A few days ago, on December 16, a burglar started working in a locker room of a sports club in Klagenfurt around 9:30 p.m. There he stole sports shoes, sports bags and a game console with a total value of almost 2,000 euros.

Just a few days later, on the night of December 21, the man broke into the offices of a health facility in Klagenfurt. “The unknown perpetrator stole forty highway vignettes and several thousand euros in cash,” says a police officer. An unusual loot, but one that would ultimately lead the officers to the serial burglar.
