A series of adverse circumstances led to a broken nose and a fracture of the right elbow in a 30-year-old. The German got sick while driving – she vomited from the moving car. That was not without consequences…
On Friday around 2:25 p.m., the 30-year-old was in the passenger seat of a car driving on the Fernpass highway B179 in Reutte towards Germany. Suddenly feeling nauseous and vomiting, she opened the passenger door and leaned her head and upper body out of the moving car to vomit.
Door crashes on snow pole
But the open passenger door collided with a snow pole and was thrown back. The door hit the 30-year-old in the face and right arm. The result: a broken nose and a fracture of the right elbow. The German was taken to hospital by ambulance.
